...so while the Op Pro was running out at Avalanche, most folks on the North Shore were taking advantage of a newly arrived swell and perfect, sunny weekend weather.
I paddled out at Laniakea and was very pleasantly surprised to see Aussie Joel Parkinson in the water. Watching Parkinson surf is a real treat: speed, style, and awe-inspring (i.e. jaw dropping) fins-free turns in powerful, head-high to overhead surf.
