O'Neill World Cup of Surfing Rolls On

Fun day today. A round and a half of the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing ran at Sunset Beach, and up the road at Waimea Bay this afternoon, the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau big wave event held its annual opening ceremony.

At Sunset, Jesse Merle-Jones and Ola Eleogram kept rolling right along with heat wins, and former Triple Crown champ Myles Padaca and Californian Chris Ward looked really good as well.

Things are about to get serious, with the upper ranks of the WCT scheduled to hit the water once the event resumes. Stay tuned at TripleCrownofSurfing.com.
