It's late afternoon on the North Shore of Oahu, and today is the first day of the waiting period for the Op Pro North Shore Makahiki Festival contest at Ali'i Beach Park in Haleiwa.
Unfortunately, the North Shore could not be more freakin' FLAT!!! Nary a ripple coming through at Haleiwa, and it looks like it could take until Wednesday to get things going.
