The Triple Crown's youngest competitor, 14 year-old John John Florence, is set to surf trials heat #7 at the O'Niell World Cup of Surfing today at Sunset Beach.
John John didn't surf particularly well at last week's Op Pro at Haleiwa, and when I saw him in the lineup at Backdoor on Sunday morning, he kinda looked over it. So we'll see how he does out at Sunset in about an hour.
