So it's the end of lay day number two (in a row) for the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach. Time to take a day off after a pretty good run of swell that began about 10 days ago.
No big hurry to get the contest going again, as the holding period lasts until December 6. Then the guys head for Pipe and the next battle, and the girls are off to Honolua Bay on Maui (and yes, a stay at the ultra-luxurious Ritz-Carlton resort at Kapalua).
In the meantime, get a little workout and some stretching in. The swell may turn on enough tomorrow for the action to resume. As always, check TripleCrownofSurfing.com for daily updates and the live webcast.
