Answer: when you walk into a bar at a Mexican restaurant and a middle-aged lady is wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Bobby tearing the top off a head-high right.
Yes, this happened last night, and yes, Bobby Martinez has gone from near-obscurity a year ago while toiling it out on the WQS to the top five of the ASP world championship tour and a shoe-in for WCT rookie of the year.
Bobby was raised in a working-class area of Santa Barbara (and yes, there is a grittier, tougher part of Santa Barbara where home prices don't average more than a million bucks). Which sort of begs the question: when's the movie deal going to happen?
