Rusty 'Skunkworks' Promises Board-Building Progress

Perhaps never in the history of surfing are we in as dynamic an environment as we currently are when it comes to shaping and manufacturing surfboards.

Since the abrupt closure of Clark Foam 10 months ago, more ideas have been tossed about than during any period in the past 50 years.

Now, there's word out of San Diego County that Rusty Preisendorfer and his team are working on some super-secret, "sandwich" composite boards that may be available for custom orders by this winter.
