The annual C Street Longboard Classic returns to Ventura on September 16 and 17.
A fundraiser for the re-establishment of the C Street Surfing Museum, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever this year, with highlights that include an appearances by top pro longboarder (and Roxy Girl) Kassia Meador and Buddy the Surfdog (a C Street legend), a Surfrider Foundation presentation of “Peel” on Saturday night at the Ventura College Theater, Surfrider’s Clean Water Paddle Out on Sunday morning, and a big party at Franky’s on Main Street with music and food. A big favorite with the longboard tribe, the C Street Longboard Classic will be taped for future broadcast on Fox TV.
