There was a time when Silver Strand beach in Oxnard, California was one of the most localized surf spots on the planet. Even though there were plenty of photos taken care, the spot was rarely mentioned by name in surf publications, and the locals liked it that way.
For the most part, those days are over. It's no secret that Timmy Curran and his brothers grew up right down the street from Silver Strand, and more images and video clips capture the spot these days when it's going off, including this one from Gary Wilcox at YouTube.
