All of the favorites went about their business at the Boost Mobile Pro (Presented by Hurley) today, and round three was completed in fairly good conditions at Lower Trestles.
A couple of semi-upsets: San Clemente local Chris Ward taking down Taylor Knox, and Bobby Martinez falling to Brazilian vet Victor Ribas.
Among the more impressive performances was that of Mark Occhilupo. Now four decades old, Occy has reportedly been riding some new boards that have him turning back the clock. Occy took down Hawaiian Fred Patacchia and Taj Burrow awaits him next in round four.
