For the second time in two weeks, a hurricane of significant strength has moved its way up Mexico's Pacific Coast. Hurricane Lane has reached Category 3 strenth, but instead of following a north/northwest track, Lane will turn right toward the Mexico mainland and make landfall somewhere in the Mazatlan region.
So Cabo gets spared this time around, and SoCal surfers basically get skunked. In other words, no overhead hurricane swell for this year's "September Sessions."
